He did have a point about the cycle lane. If there is one provided why not use it. Cyclists are hard to get past because they want to ride together. They never leave passing places when they ride. The car driver doesn't have much opportunity to pass at the best of times. Even harder when your in a loaded hgv.😂

What most people don’t realise is that after this incident took place the car driver and cyclist met up, agreed it had been a big misunderstanding and shook hands and apologised. They are now good friends and go on holidays to the Norfolk Broads together with their families. Makes you proud to be British.

Although it would be prudent for the cyclist here to sign himself up for a refresher on the use of a little patience and perhaps some better manners on the road he still needs to report this cretin to the police. As for those people commenting “why not use the cycle lane”… cycle lanes on pavements are mostly useless as there are obstructions every few yards, pedestrians who jaywalk in them, cars pulling out of driveways and side roads every few yards where you need to stop. In any event, cyclists are fully entitled to use the road, even if there is a cycle lane, just happens to be the law. Drivers with littledicks like this guy just need to chill out.
